HEALvetia learning app is there to help heart failure patients and their caregivers to better understand the condition and the usual therapies. It is a collection of easy-to-read content with comprehension check that will make learning an interesting activity.
Heart failure is a condition that requires a high level of engagement and commitment from the patient to adhere to a prescribed therapy that usually includes several changes in lifestyle such as diet and exercise.

Our app makes it easy to understand the condition and treatment; it’s based on validated clinical knowledge. It answers the usual questions that patients have when confronted with the diagnosis and while trying to adjust their lives thereafter. Doctor’s time is usually limited and it is very common for patients to continue having questions and doubts, as heart failure affects a great part of a patient’s life.

The app is a learning challenge that will progressively increase the confidence level with which patients face the daily challenges and questions. It provides useful bits of information and allows for reviews in order to internalize all critical information.

HEALvetia wants to accompany patients in their challenging journey to increase their quality of life by breaking down a difficult and confusing condition into little pieces, which are easy to digest and understand. The right adherence will ultimately depend on what patients do or stop doing at the end but by providing them with better knowledge we aim to facilitate that compliance.

There are six sections in which the content is distributed:
• The condition
• The treatment
• Diet
• Activity
• The symptoms
• Feelings

Most features in the app require the mobile device to be connected to the internet, please make sure you have access to wifi or to a data package.
